Xavier Adds Second 2021 Commit, Forward Elijah Tucker

Xavier added another piece to the 2021 class Friday morning when Elijah Tucker committed to the Musketeers.

Tucker, a forward who is listed at 6’7” according to 247sports.com, is a possible redshirt candidate due to the front court depth Xavier projects to have for the 2021-2022 season.

Currently, Xavier will have Ben Stanley (rs-senior), Zach Freemantle (junior), Dieonte Miles (rs-sophomore), Daniel Ramsey (junior/rs-sophomore), and Cesare Edwards (freshman) ready to compete for front court minutes when Tucker arrives at Xavier.

Tucker is a good shooter and an improved rebounder. He has gotten stronger over the past year as well, which is part of the reason he improved as a rebounder.

The extra strength has also helped him with his interior game as finishing around the rim.

One of the most intriguing parts of Tucker’s profile is his potential. Seeing how much he improved when he added strength makes you wonder how much better he can get in a college level strength and conditioning program. He’s also one of the youngest players in the 2021 class.

For 2021 recruiting, Xavier will probably add one more player to the class, a wing.
